RAM capacity relationship with Computer Speed

Each unit requires a computer with a certain capacity of RAM to work with the default speed. If capacity is insufficient RAM or smaller than required, could result in a decreased computer performance or slower than the standard. The smaller the capacity of RAM (more distant from the needs of normal) the slower computer performance. Therefore, the provision of sufficient RAM capacity is very important to improve the performance of a computer or computer to work according to standard speed.

Windows is an operating system (OS: Operating System), the most widely used by computer users in Indonesia, both for personal computers (home), state and private agencies. Windows operating system typically uses RAM as main memory to store programs or data that is being used or needed by the CPU. If capacity is insufficient RAM, windows by itself will create a virtual memory taken from the memory on my hard drive space remaining (unused space). The files can not be stored in RAM (because of running out of places) will be stored in virtual memory is earlier. When the CPU requires the file, it should take to the virtual memory was a means to access the hard drive. Speed access to virtual memory on my hard drive is much slower than to RAM. This has resulted in a slower computer work if the RAM is now installed capacity is smaller than required. When such cases occur, additional RAM capacity can improve computer performance.
Keep in mind that the windows have a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) that serves as a library for windows programs themselves. DLL files are usually stored in RAM so that programs that need it can access it faster. Sometimes this file is no longer needed. Unfortunately, the file is not immediately removed from RAM, resulting in wasteful use of store space in RAM and disk space is quickly filled. When this happens, the windows system will create virtual memory on my hard drive. As a result, computer performance becomes more sluggish. To avoid incidents like this, then the DLL files that are no longer needed are still stored in RAM should be removed (discarded) to save disk space in RAM.
